The Futures Tense

The futures dapat menggunakan rumus:

A. Present Continuous, bila kegiatan itu akan segera terjadi ( very soon):

1. I'm hanging out with Josh this weekend.
2. I'm studying tonight.
3. I'm working next week.

B. Simple Tense, bila kegiatan itu mempunyai jadwal rutin (time table):

1. The last train leaves at 6 pm today.
2. The restaurant opens at 5 pm.
3. My TV Show starts at 4 pm.

C. Be + going to + verb, bila kegiatan itu akan dilaksanakan dalam waktu dekat disertai adanya bukti/petunjuk/evidence  (near future/plan):

1. I'm going to study English next month.
2. It's going to rain all week.

D. Will + verb, bila kegiatan itu akan dilaksanakan di masa yang akan datang (far future/promise):

1. In 50 years, everyone will speak chinese.
2. Aliens will invode Earth.
3. I will marry you.
4. I won't drink again.
5. I'll do it.
